Website Update: Improving the wishlist

15/10/2025
Background
I know it's been a while since my last update post, but that doesn't mean I've stopped working on the website. I've been working mainly on improving my admin tools, but I've also been working on wishlists. I'll explain below, but if you ever have any doubts about whether I've been hijacked, check out my Github profile (if there are green boxes, it's a good sign).
I'll start by talking about the wishlist. I've restructured a lot of the code because I didn't like the performance of what I had before and the problems it was giving me. It's been like retracing my steps, but I hope I've focused it correctly this time, and I hope you understand that there are no tutorials on this on the Internet. By doing this, I've taken the opportunity to add a "warning" to the header to show you yellow if a game on your list has been reduced by at least 20 cents from its previous all-time low:
On the Wishlist page itself, I've added a new box to those games that have reached an all-time low since your last visit (I'm not applying the 20 cent rule here):
I'll keep working with the wishlist, the only thing I can promise you is that I won't approach the section like an Excel spreadsheet. Making this section as absurdly complicated as sites like Isthereanydeal or GGdeals have done means driving away new and/or lazy users. Let me give you an example: I've been looking into adding price and store filters to the wishlist, but in every design I make, the section ends up being the fucking Excel spreadsheet, and I don't want that.
And that's all for now. If you're bored in class or at work and want to help me, try contacting Allyouplay, Gamerthor, and Etailmarket to see if you can get me their lists of deals, because they don't pay any attention to me.
