Launching forum

22/4/2025
Background
In case anyone hasn't noticed by looking at the header of the website, I'm announcing that I'm working on implementing a forum on the website. Instead of being lazy like my competitors, I've decided to program it from scratch myself. This means that it still lacks some of the basic features of any forum, but you can now post comments without fear of being deleted.
Things you should know about the forum:
  • There are separate forums for English speakers and for Spanish speakers. The only rule I ask is that you write in the forum's respective language. There are no forums for other languages, but if, for example, hordes of Germans show up tomorrow, I'd be happy to open German forums for you.
  • To be able to comment on the forum, you need to have a registered account on the website, and you also need to assign a name (you can do this from your account/forum).
  • You can disable the latest forum comments on the website's homepage (also from account/forum). I fully understand that not everyone wants to read comments and only wants to see games with offers.
  • The forum doesn't yet have BBCode, but you can add images or links using HTML.
Frankly, I don't expect many comments on the forum, because the website only has 90 registered users. But if I programmed the forum from scratch it is for several reasons: social networks are not reliable in the long term, programming a forum is tedious but any developer can do it and above all, I want you to have the opportunity to help each other because I cannot be online 24 hours a day.
