Website update: The website will now support unofficial stores
7/8/2026
Time for another update post, and this one's a big one. I mentioned it months ago: since I've received zero help from communities that claim to support developers, my idea to pay the bills was to include unofficial stores and marketplaces without breaking the website for those who only wanted to see deals from official stores. Yesterday, let's just say I took the first step, which you can see and use.
In the website's top bar, you can now activate, if you wish, a button to show you offers from unofficial stores on the game pages and on the homepage. It sounds pretty epic, but so far only the unofficial store Loaded has responded to my emails, and I can access their API. I hope to add more stores over time.
The search, wishlist, historical lows, filters, and price comparison sections currently only work with official stores. I hope to update them over the next few weeks to add support for unofficial stores and marketplaces.
On game pages, if you enable unofficial stores, a slight interface change will appear to show you the game's all-time low prices. From now, boxes will appear in each DRM to show you the price the game has had in each store "category" (the screenshot is missing a box for marketplaces):
I've also added a small label below each store logo in the store link listings so you know the store category.
And on the homepage, I should mention that I treat offers from unofficial stores as separate "entities" from official ones. This means that the same game may appear twice at recent historical lows if it happens to be listed at the same price in both an official and an unofficial stores.
To conclude, and to be honest, it will take months for the website to provide reliable historical prices from unofficial stores and marketplaces (I only have data for Loaded so far this August). This is the first update in a series of updates that I will be releasing gradually.
