Launching a news hub on Steam

9/3/2026
I hadn't planned to write a post about website updates because I'm still working with the dollar, but Valve has made me change my plans. Last Friday, the Steam group on the website "evolved" into a news hub. To you, it might seem like a simple design change, but for me, it meant throwing all the code in the trash and starting from scratch.
This is the direct link to the news hub. If you click "Follow," you'll see boxes on Steam with the news I post.
The news on Steam will be the same as on the website, although with more compact headlines because I'm now only allowed 80 characters for the title alone and 120 for the subtitle. They don't leave me much room to maneuver when I mention very long game/bundle names in the title, so I had to add a "shortener" for those cases. They also don't allow images from my own domain, so I'll have to use images from Steam.
I'm currently working on the autoposter for the Steam news hub, and when I finish it, I hope to get back to the dollar, which I had to put on hold.
