Translations of games on Steam, GOG and Epic Games added to the website
16/1/2025
Today I come to tell you about another update that I have made on the website and that surprises me that it is not in other price comparators such as isthereanydeal, gg.deals or allkeyshop. From now on in the games you will see if there is a specific translation available for your language on each platform, here is an example, if you are a user from Spain and you want to know if the game Cyberpunk 2077 has a Spanish translation on Steam, GOG or Epic Games, you can now find out without having to open each platform. With this update you should know the following things:
- This is a progressive update, it will take between 3 and 4 months to add the languages in the 54,000 games and DLCs that I have registered in the database (I did it this way to avoid a 4-5 day maintenance).
- At the moment I have added support for translations of the games in English, Spanish (Spain), French, German, Italian and Portuguese (Portugal). But if you want me to add other languages, write to me at admin@pepeizqdeals.com and if you can tell me games that have translations, it would save me time.
- If you are a registered user on the website, you can change the language of the game translations in your account. I added a new option to manage the languages of the website and game translations.
- With Steam and GOG, I hope to add all languages to the games without any problem. Every time their API information is updated, the languages for the respective platforms will be added to the games.
- With Epic Games, due to their chaotic API, there will be games without translations. During the first years of the store, there were no specific fields for languages and the games added at that time were not required to follow a pattern to indicate languages or even put them.
- And regarding the rest of the platforms like Ubisoft or Gamepass, don't have your hopes up that I can add translations for the games. The information I have about their APIs is so limited that I can't even tell if their games are compatible with Windows.
I'd venture to say that 98% of the games will have the same translations on all platforms, but with this update I hope you'll know of those cases of games where a language was added on Steam but was forgotten on GOG or that the game's publisher was simply lazy in adding languages to the game.
