Website updates: notice about free games and a new feature called excluded games

It's about time for another website update post. Before I tell you about the new game exclusion option, I'm going to explain my stance on the garbage of free games coming to Steam and currently available on the Epic Games Store.

During this month of April, many games will appear as free to claim on Steam that don't even reach 10 reviews (my minimum threshold for adding games to my database). Even if they don't reach that threshold, I'll manually add them to my website, but I won't post news about these games on the site because, frankly, it makes me angry to send you notifications for such garbage where their developers haven't even spent 10 hours developing them.

Unless they add some surprise on Steam, the only game I'll be posting news about is Legend of Keepers, I won't be posting news about the rest. Regarding the Epic Games Store, I'll only be adding the games they give away for free on Thursdays to the database and posting news about them. The developers of the other games they're offering for free don't even bother to create a Steam page (imagine how bad they are).

Now, about game exclusions: I can finally tell you about a new feature you can use if you're registered on the website. It's a tool similar to Steam's ignored games feature. I rewrote the website code so you can remove the games you absolutely hate (even if there are thousands of them), but if you ever want to see them again, just go to the new section in your account called Excluded Games and remove the exclusion. I still have other sections where I need to add this new option, but it's already working on the homepage, historical lows, search, and bundles.
